novakid's summer english program is great, even with a missed class

i signed up my kid for the summer english program and was worried about what happens if we miss a novakid class since our schedule changes a lot. turns out, it's pretty flexible if you reschedule in advance. we had one class pop up as 'missed' cause i forgot to cancel, and while it was a bummer, it wasn't a huge deal. the English grammar for kids curriculum is actually pretty solid, way better than some other platforms we tried. promo code saved us 25% on the first month too.

My take on Novakid's vocab lessons

Anyone else still loving Novakid? I've been with them for a while now, primarily for their vocabulary building lessons, and the consistency is why I keep coming back over trying something like Cambly Kids. The teachers are always reliable, and even the Novakid Game World is pretty engaging. By the way, does anyone know their cancellation policy for subscriptions? I might need to adjust soon and want to make sure I understand it fully before my next renewal.

Easy to use, child enjoys

Signed up my son. Lessons are interactive. He likes his teacher. Simple to book. No complaints here.

Good learning, some scheduling issues

We've been using Novakid for a few months now for my 7-year-old. The 1-on-1 lessons are really engaging, and I've seen a noticeable improvement in his speaking confidence. The teachers are generally native speakers, which was important to me, and they use a lot of interactive games that keep him focused. My main gripe is with scheduling; sometimes it's hard to get the same teacher at a consistent time each week, which can be a bit disruptive for kids. The website could also be a little more intuitive for managing lesson times, but overall, it's a solid service for English learning.

Pretty good for my kid

My 6-year-old started Novakid a few weeks ago and it's been pretty good. She really gets into the interactive games, which is key 'cause her attention span isn't always the best. The teacher we got is super patient and friendly. Setting up the first lesson was a breeze. I mean, it's online, so sometimes the internet acts up a bit, but that's not really their fault. She seems to be enjoying it and learning stuff, so I'm happy.

Detailed review of our first package

I signed up my 9-year-old daughter for Novakid's advanced English lessons after her free trial. The ordering process for the lesson package was straightforward, though I did spend some time comparing the different subscription plans. The first lesson was easy to schedule, and we were able to pick a teacher based on their profile videos. She's had about ten lessons now. The teachers have all been very professional and patient, using the Novakid Game World which she absolutely loves. She even did a VR history tour once, which she thought was really cool. Customer support was responsive when I had a question about changing a lesson time, replying within a few hours. I do wish there were more options for non-native teachers who might have specific ESL experience, but the quality of native speakers has been high. The progress tracking dashboard is also helpful for me to see what she's covered.

Consistent quality over time

This isn't our first time with Novakid. We first started about a year ago, then paused, and now we're back for a summer English program. The consistency is what keeps us coming back; the lesson structure and teacher quality are just as good as I remembered. My daughter had a few different teachers this time, but they all followed a similar teaching style that she's used to, which made the transition smooth. The platform itself has seen a few small improvements too, like the lesson rescheduling being a bit easier. It's reliable, and that's why we keep choosing it over other options we've looked at in the past.

Good value with the new student discount

I was looking for an affordable way to get my son some extra English practice, and Novakid popped up. I took advantage of a new student discount for our first subscription plan, which made the cost per lesson quite reasonable. The free trial lesson beforehand was a nice touch, letting us test it out without commitment. For the price I paid, I feel like we got good value; the lessons are engaging and he's definitely picking up new vocabulary. I did compare it to a few other platforms, and with the discount, Novakid offered the best deal at the time for 1-on-1 instruction. I'll be watching for renewal discounts when our current package runs out.
